For over
20 years we have specialised in the construction of new oak framed
buildings
and the restoration & repair of old timber frames.
Oak framed buildings have a particular charm and
are much sought after on the property market. This is not only
because of their ancient roots (oakframing is one of the oldest
building methods) but also because of the warm feeling created
by the oak and the skill of the craftsman which is reflected in
the way the wood has been worked.
The beautiful and durable oak deserves to be turned
into work of the highest standard and quality. This is what we create
for our Clients - a unique piece of craftsmanship designed and made
according to your needs which is also a good investment.

Our services
include:
• Design and construction of new traditionally
jointed timber framed buildings: houses, barns, extensions, sunrooms,
porches, garages, outbuildings, oak garden buildings, framing of
floors, trusses and oak roofs.
• Traditional hand run mouldings wrought from the solid, on beams,
fireplaces, ceilings, windows and doorways.
• Carved details.
• Repair and restoration of old timber work - "black & white
houses".
Because we use traditional methods, you can be sure that our restoration
projects are very sympathetic to the building and comply with listed
building regulations.
• Church work - repairs and new elements including oak screens
and carvings, lychgates. |
